What's the most important thing that happened to you this month?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 31, 2007:
What a question! What a month! This month has been one of the most important of my entire life - as I am finally truly living my dreams. My book released at the very end of September, and I was in my first book festival the first weekend of October (a huge, exciting thing!). From there, the book started to be picked up in many countries, which totally shocked me...that was crazy and exciting.
I met an awesome group of women in the Women of Vision and Passion pod, and we are rapidly creating an international network to help empower women in their personal creative visions - whatever they might be. That has been a wonderful thing...
I had several people tell me that my book had already changed their lives. I cannot tell you what that meant to my heart - I cried each time - and I was moved with their personal courage in embracing change. For anyone who is doing the kinds of work that we all are, there is nothing more gratifying than knowing that you made a profound difference in someone's life. For me, it is the ultimate accomplishment...
But I think maybe the most important thing out of all the important things is that my husband, friends, and family threw an incredible surprise party celebrating the release of my book. To see all these wonderful people there, taking time out of their lives, to give me love - I literally was in complete shock. To know all that my husband did to organize everything for me - what a gift. He even managed to organize my parents to fly in to surprise me.
There are times in your life when you realize how truly lucky you are. That day - surrounded by so much love - was a day of profound gratitude for all that I have been given in life - and for all those that are in my life.
Well, I did not mean to go on so much here - I started typing, and it all just flowed out! May you all have a terrific day today - and a great next month!

WOW Tara, I can feel the love and excitement in reading your post. Congratulations on your new book. I will have to go to your website and check it out. You should be very proud of your accomplishment at such a young age! And it certainly sounds as if you have a very loving and supportive family. You are very blessed.
